Here's my take on Laura's Sketch 5. I know it's glitter crazy but I'm so into glitter right now. I just wanted to make a fun sparkly card because my best friend is fun and sparkly and I think she will really like this card.
So go on over to 2 Sketches 4 You and join in the fun. Also check out their new design team. Kazan and Laura picked some really talented people to be on the design team. I can't wait to see what beautiful cards they make.
Take care,
Christy

My Sweet Man....
Guess what my husband bought me yesterday.... Zutter's Bind~it~All. I'm so excited. I can't wait til this evening when I will have time to play with it. Also I finally caught the Fiskars Treading Water punch instock. Also the best part we used 40% off coupons on both items. Hobby Lobby is where we got all my new stuff. At our store they are in the process of doing a major reset in the scrapbooking area. There was alot of new things and alot of empty sections where they haven't gotten all the new stuff out just yet. I don't think I had even seen the Zutter there before and there was alot empty in that section so I can't wait to go back in a couple of weeks and see what all they have new. Let's see what else did I get. I got book covers, binding wire and acrylic inserts to go along with the Zutter. I got the sample pack of sugar coating glitter. I got the tab cutting die for my cuttlebug. I also got a pack of clear border stamps that look like stitching and a long acrylic block for them. I think that is all. But girls don't feel sorry for my husband I got him a new helmet for his motorcycle. :0)

Kazan's Sketch #5
This is my entry for the2 Sketches 4 You challenge this week.
I love the blue and green together. The ribbon isn't really as dark as it appears in the pictures. Ofcourse I glittered everything, I'm so into glitter right now. The paper is from the DCWV Nana's Kids paper pack. I used white ink on the edges of the card.
Hope everyone has a great week!
Take care,
Christy

2 Sketches 4 You Challenge
Well let me tell you all, I know just how out of shape I am. I walked yesterday evening in a Relay for Life walk. It's a very good cause, it's all about cancer research for a cure. Well my daughter was lucky enough to get to ride in a stroller after one lap around the track but my friend and I walked for 3 and a half hours. I'm so sore and tired this morning. I didn't think it would bother me this bad, it was just walking. I was so wrong! But it's very good for me and I need to do it everyday.
I don't know why it took me all week to come up with a card for the 2 Sketches 4 You challenge. I just couldn't come up with anything and I've been doing some layouts this week too, so I guess I was in scrapbooking mode.
I did some different things on this card. I heat embossed the design on the card. Also I filed the edges of the card to give it some distressing. I'm in love with glitter glue right now too. Can't you tell.

Everyone have a great weekend.
Everyone have a great weekend.
TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm SOOO thankful it's Friday! It seemed to be the longest week ever. It's been crazy at Wal*Mart all week. I am the dept. mgr. over the ladies apparel at my store. We have been setting back to school floorplans. (Still not done!) It's been like a mad house in there. People are crazy when they come to Wal*Mart to shop. But enough about that. There is one good thing at Wal*Mart this week. My store just reset the scrapbooking area and we now have Martha Stewart scrapbooking supplies. I am sooo tickled. I just got some of her stuff today. I got the doily lace border punch, the scalloped border punch, butterfly punch and 1/16 hole punch. I also got her pink and green paper pack. The price were better then the prices for her stuff at Michael's too. Wal*Mart is carrying her glitter, inks and clear stamp sets too. Some other new things I bought that weren't Martha's line was a pack of glittered 12x12 paper, a pack of metallic 12x12 paper, rhinestone embellishments, bright colored eyelets, brads and photo turns. All of these is cute stuff that we haven't carried before. Needless to say I was so glad we got our stimulus check in this week.
Okay that's enough with the happy stuff. I have to share something that has made me sad! :0( My daughter is going to Pre-K this fall. I can't believe she is even old enough to go. It seems like yesterday she was just a baby. I didn't really want to sign her up but my husband did because he said (and I agree) that she needs to start interacting with other kids. She acts and talks more like a grown up because that is all she is really around. It just doesn't seem like she should be old enough to start school. It just makes me sad. :0(
