Hannah Montana

Shakin' her booty!
Showing off.
I have no idea what this expression is. :0)
Notice that little belly hanging out from her costume? Well the stomach virus took care of that. She lost atleast 5 pounds. She couldn't keep anything down for 3 days. :0(

My Finished Halloween Paper Bag Album

I finished my album today. I'm going to start with Jacey's 1st Halloween and continue on from there until she decides she too old to dress up for Halloween.

Bety's Blog is 2 Years Old!

I just wanted to let everyone know about a blog that I visit often. Beatriz Jennings has a talent for creating beautiful cards, tags, altered items and so much more. I get so much inspiration from her blog. I love to look at all the beautiful creations she makes. Most of her designs are so feminine and soft. Everything is just beautiful. Anyway she has been inspiring and impressing people for 2 years with her blog. So hop on over and check it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Too cute1

Here's another layout I did for the crop. It's 8x8. I think it's too cute!

More Fun Stuff from the Crop

A layout for either 8x8 page or using 8x8 paper on a layout.

A layout for a race challenge. I had to use mostly black and white.

A Halloween card for a scraplift challenge.

I have caught up on some much of my layouts for past halloweens. The crop isn't halloween themed but I'm in the halloween spirit. So I've been able to catch up on my halloween album. I didn't do halloween on a couple of things but now I wish I had on the song title themed layout. I wasn't even thinking of halloween songs. I could have made another page from that. Oh well!

Halloween Bag Album

This is the halloween bag album I've started. It's not nearly finished but I've got a good start going. I plan on starting out the album with Jacey's first halloween pics and going up each year from there. Maybe do 2 pages per year and just add to it as the years go along.

Everyone says that time flies by so fast after you have kids, well I guess it's true. It's hard to remember Jacey being this small. She is just so adorable. This was her 1st halloween. She was Snow White. What is funny about this picture is those big feet. Look how huge her feet look. She is doomed to take after her daddy.

Croppin' Weekend

I'm having a blast with the CM group Crop n Chat. This weekend is the Oct. crop. There are some really nice ladies there and the crops are so much fun. I'm so glad I found this group.
Here is a layout that I did from the scraplift challenge.

Here's a layout I did for the race challenge. It had to have a song title somewhere on the page.

Hopefully I'll have more to check out soon because I'm off to scrap again.
Take care,
Christy

Recent pages

This is sort of just a simply layout but I like it.

I love this paper. This picture was originally 15x6. I cropped 3 inches off so it would fit on my page. I had it blown up at Wal*Mart. It only cost me around $1.50. This is a new print size they are doing at my local Wal*Mart.

This is a layout about my cat Harvey and my daughters pet rat Fuzzy. You would think Harvey would eat Fuzzy but no, they are friends. Too cute!

I love this page. It looks better in person the picture doesn't do it justice. I love the big flower that I got at the Dollar Tree. I added a button to the center with a rub-on on it. I also used a Wordle. I also painted and glittered the flower in the lower right hand corner.

Some things I've worked on for a crop this weekend.

This is an altered dog food can that I turned into a pencil holder for my daughter.

This is a layout I did for Jacey's first day of Pre-K.

This was my first time joining in on an on-line scrap crop. I've had alot of fun. I won a word scramble contest. I've had fun getting to see what all the talented ladies came up with.

New Pics

First day of Pre~K.

Jacey was excited to finally be at school but she started crying alittle when we told her we had to leave. After the first day she was fine. She looks forward to school now. She amazes me each day with all the new things she is learning.

So much going on.

Hi everyone! I've not fallen off the face of the earth. I've been really busy with work and trying to get everything ready for my daughter to go to Pre-K. I really want to keep her home until she goes to Kindergarten but she wants to go to school. My hubby is pushing for her to go too because we don't have any small children around that she plays with regularly. She is so smart, she is ready for school.
Yesterday was a rough day for her. She had her physical, hearing and eye exam. She had 5 immunizations and she had blood work done. I will never forget the look on that baby's face when she saw all those needles. She broke my heart. But she did really good. She only teared up alittle. The nurse completely made up for inflicting pain because when Jacey left she had more toys, stickers and suckers than she could carry.
You hate to put your child through that pain but you know that you are doing it for their own good but still it doesn't help the guilt you feel when they are hurting.

Christy

Back from vacation....

We went to the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.

Jacey fell in love with the go-karts at The Track in Pigeon Forge, TN. Every evening we were at the go-kart places. I'm of course too chicken to drive one of them so her daddy was with her on them.

She finally got brave enough at the Nascar Speedpark to drive one herself. She had so much fun once she conquered her fears.

The second day of vacation we went to the Knoxville Zoo in Knoxville, TN. We had a great time. This is a picture I took of Jacey waiting outside for the zoo to open. Jacey was so excited.

Here is a great picture of a rhino that I took.

They had a petting zoo for the kiddies. Jacey went in to pet and brush the goats, sheep and llama. They were all friendly. She was tickled to brush the animals.

A good shot of a prairie dog.

Beautiful flowers and a butterfly in the Butterfly Gardens at the zoo.

I loved the elephants. They are amazing animals. This one tried to spray everyone that was watching it.

This was the highlight of the zoo for me. The baby chimp is only 3 weeks old. When we got to the chimp house you couldn't see the baby but mama turned around and there was the baby clinging to her. She looked up and saw all of the people watching and she picked the baby off of her and sat it down in front of her for everyone to see him. Mama had to hold him up because he's still too small to sit up on his own or he was too sleepy because when she let him go he just flopped down and went to sleep. It was just sooooo cute!
We did alot more so maybe tomorrow I'll post some more pics of the rest of our vacation.
Take care,
Christy
