ALTERED WOODEN PHOTO FRAME

Shame on me...it's been forever since I've posted anything on my blog. How time flies. I'm still scrapbooking and crafting. One thing that has slowed me down some is I got a Nook e-reader so I do spend some extra time reading now. I like surfing the net too for free e-books. I have gotten into making mini albums alot lately. I love watching the YouTube videos of everyone's mini albums. I get such inspiration from them. I'm drooling over all the new products that came out during this CHA. I can't wait to get my hands on some of Marion Smith's new Prima Line. I so wish I had a Local Scrapbook Store near me so I could actually look at new stuff. It's not the same looking at something online.
Anyway I've had 3 wooden photo frames for probably 2 or 3 years. I knew I wanted to alter them somehow just never really could decide how. Well last week I came across a blog that had a cheap and easy way to create crackle paint effect without using crackle paint but using white glue instead. So I decided that this technique would be perfect for my frames.
This is what I've come up with.

The other 2 frames I'm going to go primitive with them. Base coat brown and top coat antique white. I haven't started them yet. I will post pics whenever I get them finished.
I hope you have a scrap happy day!!! :)
